We have re-designed the Russ Anderson/SMC Knot Passing Pulley based upon recommendations from the field. We lowered the sheave to give more volume to accommodate larger knots and to increase stability when the pulley is being used as an edge roller. The carabiner hole has been enlarged to accept up to eight 1/2" diameter carabiners. The sideplates are made from heat treated aluminum and pins have been added to lock off the sheave so a high strength tie off can be made. This pulley uses the same rotating sideplate design as our Rescue Pulleys, and has oilite bushings that allow higher working loads on sheaves. This pulley offers the necessary size, strength and versatility to perform in a wide variety of rescue operations. Overall size is 10.6" x 6" wide by 3.7" thick.
